When we created our new Colorhouse showroom – The Colorspot – one of the many decisions to make along the way was choosing the flooring. It had to be beautiful, durable, and of course, environmentally responsible. Our friends at FLOR had the perfect solution.
FLOR is an innovate system of carpet squares made with renewable and recycled content and is recyclable with FLOR’s Return & Recycle Program. Individual squares can be replaced as needed, instead of re-carpeting the whole room- way cool! At Colorhouse, we strive to reduce waste through recycling and reuse in all aspects of our business, so going with FLOR for our showroom was an easy choice!
FLOR supplements their environmental mission with an incredible selection of beautiful colors and patterns. Check out their inspiration gallery. We chose the pattern called “Suit Yourself”, in a slate grey called Granite. The subtle chevron pattern adds dimension and movement without being busy. The rich grey color creates a grounded feeling in the space, and is an anchor for modern white furniture, our minimalist white walls painted with Colorhouse BISQUE .02, and warm birch displays. Our harmonious hues become the focal point amid the other simple finishes in the space. Which is exactly the point, right?
Stop by The Colorspot and pick up your favorite Colorhouse hue for your next painting project. If you need help finding the ideal color for your space, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our Color Nerds for a free 30 minute color consultation. See you soon!
